help with adding or modifying module

Hi,
I am in the sales and service industry - 5 salesmen.

1.  Our company uses a transmittal system for our billing and parts department to track inventory and payable/receivables. The closest module to the transmittal is the Sales Order module but it is missing and hides many key elements that are necessary for our company.  
      a.  can I build my own module that would look - when printed like the excel sheet that our company currently is using? 
      b.  If so, can I have it be self populating when associated with parent account and/or sub account?
      c.  It will need key features.  
            1. vendor
            2. price per piece
            3. quantity ordered
            4.  mark up
            5.  total cost
            6.  shipping calculator
            7.  labor calculator
            8. sub calculator
            9. rental calculator (type of rental)
            10.  total profit on job
            11.  total cost on job
                  Is this possible?
