Welcome to this week’s journey with ZylkerShop on Zoho Desk Help Center customization. This post unveils codes for hiding the Print and Download PDF options from Knowledge Base articles in the Help Center.
ZylkerShop wanted to allow its registered users to view Knowledge Base articles while preventing the downloading or printing of these articles. This approach helps protect the organization’s intellectual property and reduces unauthorized sharing. Additionally, it can increase user engagement with the Help Center, as users will need to return to the site for reference, ensuring that everyone accesses the same version of information.
Steps to add the CSS code
i. Navigate Setup(S) >> Channels >> Help Center >> Select the Help Center portal >> Select Customization. Click Customize on the theme you want to change.
ii. On the left panel, under Customize, click on CSS and paste the code. On the top right of the screen, click Preview to view the changes, and then click Publish to see the live changes.
