The reality of deals is that a deal can be one or lost at any stage, these are two separate functions all together. Zoho decided instead to make WON / LOST part of a stage in the deal process. This was not a great idea, but none the less this is how the system functions. In reality a deal should be WON or LOST and in any particular stage of the sales process.
With that being said, we like to look at our deals in a Kanban Board style. Unfortunately, we have to view columns that are never really used such as Deal Lost, etc.
What would be nice is the ability to HIDE THE COLUMNS in the kanban board or deal board so that you do not have to see them. This way it only shows the ones that are important to you and your organization.
For instance hide deal stages: lost, XXX,XXXX
This would allow you to focus in on the stages that matter and hopefully not have to scroll.
