higher priority for Zoho MX records shut down my Gmail

Hi, I'm tryinf to setup Zoho mail with Gmail.

When I tried the automatic setup, my google MX records were deleted and replaced by Zoho's. I was unable to receive and send mails via Gmail.

So I'm currently trying the manual way but :

"Unable to check MX records from your domain. Make sure to set a higher priority for Zoho MX records."

If I set that priority, will my gmail still working ?
