Highlight color on email list

May I suggest using a stronger/brighter color for the email highlighter? It is now a lovely, but hard to see, beige color. I have to make sure the monitor is tipped just right to see it and have hit the wrong email many times. At least can we have the option of changing it? (Or all colors/themes).
