How can a client receive an email automatically as soon as a record is created?

How can a client receive an email automatically as soon as a record is created?

How can we setup ZohoCRM so that clients receive an automated email as soon as we update/create a client record?

We looked at Workflows but they can only be configured to send alerts to ZohoCRM Users, not client email addresses.

An urgent response would be really appreciated.
