Good day,
My company uses Zoho Writer to create templates for many of our business-to-business contracts. One of our contract types, in our state, legally requires the date to be expressed as "THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 9th day of July, 2023.
When I place a fillable Dynamic Today Date field in our contract template, this is not one of the default date formats that a user can select, nor is it one of the custom date formats achievable via the on-screen prompts.
So, I broke the field down into 3 separate fillable Dynamic Today Date fields, one for the numeric date, one for the month name, and one for the four-digit year. The problem is that I cannot achieve the proper suffix for the numeric date to complete my sentence properly and legally. Meaning, I cannot get it to automate a result that would read "1st" or "2nd" or "3rd" or "4th."
I thought entering a set of conditions using the Fillable Fields/Advanced Fields tools could resolve this. I figured the simple logic should be, if the numeric date=1, the value could be set to "st" and so on. However, the Zoho Writer condition tool does not list any Dynamic Today Date fields as settable conditions, even when the fields are named.
Does anyone out there have a resolution to this, either a custom date format that works, a way to get Zoho Writer to recognize Dynamic Today Date fields as conditions, or a set of conditions that might work otherwise?
Thank you.
Rob
