How can I create a New Lead using an existing Contact?

I have a current contact that I need to add as a New Lead, but I can't figure out how to do so without recreating the contact, which would then duplicate the contact. They had come to us for a piece of business, and we closed it as a Qualified Lost. They have now come back to us for a new job, so need to put them in as a new lead. Seems like I should be able to check the box next to their contact and create a New New Lead with it, but that doesn't seem to be an option. Please advise.
