How can I request a read receipt for each recipient in a Mass mailing?

How can I request a read receipt for each recipient in a Mass mailing?

I have "request" read receipt selected as my default setting for all emails sent through ZOHO. However, I sent a Mass e-mail using a template yesterday to some of my leads for the first time and they didn't show up in my sent mail folder. Also, these e-mails went out without a read receipt attached. Is there a read receipt option for a mass e-mail? And, is there a setting to use so these e-mails show up in my sent mail folder?
