How Did Zoho Get 6 Million Users?

I've been trialling Zoho now for use in my company for a few days, and I have to say that there is not one aspect of this suite I'm really happy with. The email UI is clunky and importing mail from elsewhere is a nightmare, and the Docs have had so much trouble even doing the simplest of tasks such as open and deleting documents. Some of these have been the result of an unefficent UI, but since I'd be the one introducing this to my company, I'd have to be the one to explain to every this horrible way of doing things. Importing documents into Docs has proved more difficult than it should be too, with most documents unable to be opened. There's also this annoying little bug where Yoho freezes in the middle of the most usual of tasks, it doesn't happen with any other software or website.

In essence my question is has anyone here used Zoho in a fully deployed working environment without any real headaches? if so with how many users? and are you happy with it now?

Also what alternatives did you consider? or what alternatives are out there for people like me who aren't happy with Zoho?
