How Do I Add "Today's Events" Category to an Activity View

How Do I Add "Today's Events" Category to an Activity View

Hi, Currently I find "Today + Overdue Tasks" with columns for Customers, Open Potentials, Leads/Contacts and Others (see attached) convenient. This gives me a list of things that are happening and need attention. I would like to add an Events category. How do I do this? (I don't really know what the "Other Category" is for so I could replace that).

I have tried editing the view but it seems to only affect what's in each column.
