How do I associate a new lead with a product?

How do I associate a new lead with a product?

I'm hoping someone can help me out.  This question has been asked multiple times by various people on this forum, but I haven't seen a response.  I'm trying to determine if Zoho is right for my organization.

When we have a lead, they almost always are associated with a specific product.  The "products" that our leads are associated with are crucial to how we handle the lead.

The only way I find to associate a lead with a product is to go back into the lead after it's already been entered.  I tried creating a lookup field (associated with the products module), but the information doesn't seem to get updated in the other parts of the database...only on the lead information section.

I like this product, but this seems like a basic feature for many types of organizations....if I can't do this, I won't be able to use it due to the risk of data entry errors.
