How do I change a a client to a contact?

I uploaded a number of my contacts but they were categorized as clients. I updated many of the files manually before noticing the difference. We have categorized contacts as general and clients as companies we are doing business with.

Is there a way for me to reclassify existing clients as merely contacts?
