How Do I Change the Color of the Text on the TABS

I read a post on how to change the color of the tabs themselves by adding a line to custom CSS which worked great and did that, but want to change the color of the "selected" tab. It defaults to the colors of the theme which is kind of a brownish.

I would like to change the text colours on both the selected and the unselected tabs.

Any help would be appreciated.
