Hello, I pretty new to Zoho Subscriptions and the API. 

I am looking for a way to create records (customer/contacts, subscriptions, invoices etc.) via Zapier but NOT with Zapier apps.

I.e. I need to create a new customer/contact in Zoho Subscription and check if the record is already available in Zoho Subscriptions, if not create a new record. 

How do I start with the API? I.e. if I want to create a new customer/contact and check if the record is already in Zoho Subscriptions and if not, create a new one.
