How do I filter Zoho contacts so that only a subset of them get sync'd with my Outlook contact folder?

How do I filter Zoho contacts so that only a subset of them get sync'd with my Outlook contact folder?

Here is what I need to figure out.  Say I have 10,000 contact records in Zoho CRM and I only want 500 of them to sync with my "contacts" folder in Outlook.  How can I sort or filter based on a field entry within Zoho CRM to select the contacts I want to sync with outlook?  I only want the selected 500 contacts to sync.  I do this today with ActPro and I need to figure out how to do something similar within Zoho CRM in order to make the switch to Zoho.

Outlook uses "categories" but there doesn't seem to be a way to map those to any selectable field within Zoho CRM.

Please help me figure out how to address this issue.
