We use Zoho CRM to power our real estate agency. We have a lot of agents who refer clients to us. Hundreds of independent agents. They do not have an account in our CRM because they are independent agents, not our employees. I want to be able to use CRM to know the name of the agent who referred a lead. The agent would be saved in CRM as an Account. So I can then run a report to see how much commission I owe each agent at the end of the month. First step is, how do I make a custom field to track the  referring agent for a lead and connect that custom field to the right agent in my Accounts section? Or how is the best way to otherwise achieve this? I already have a custom field called "Referred By" and that saves the name of the referring agent for that lead, but it is not connected to the agent's record in the Accounts or Contacts section - how do I connect it (similar to how Lead Source is connected ou-of-the-box in all Zoho CRM implementations)?
