How do I set up custom domain email but keep my domains website hosted on previous provider?

How do I set up custom domain email but keep my domains website hosted on previous provider?

I want to use Zoho for my custom email. I need to transfer my domain to Zoho to do this right? My domain is registered with Godaddy. My problem is i don't want to break or change my website that uses this domain and it is hosted at a separate hosting service not Godaddy. 

So how can I have my custom domain email setup on Zoho but my website using the same domain hosted at another website provider? I don't want to use forwarding but use the domain email directly. Please any help?
