I created a Tabular report (on Table1) which is used on the Dashboard. There is another Summary report (on Table2) also in the Dashboard. I made the SalesPerson ID in the Table2 a lookup column to Sales Person ID in Table 1. 

On the dashboard, I added a user filter to Table2 column Sales Person ID. 

My expectation is that, when I select a sales person id, it should filter both the reports since that is a look up column. But the Tabular Report does not filter while the Summary report works fine.

To test it further, I created a Summary report on Table 1 and put on the dashboard. Now filter option filters both the reports.

In short, filter option with lookup column does not work well with Tabular Reports. Can any one help please?
