We're an event organiser. We have our customers, and we have our Suppliers. The Suppliers sometimes email the customers direct, but usually they email us about the customers event.

At the moment we can see all IMAPed emails between us and the customer in the Contacts module. but we need to see emails from Suppliers about a specific Contact.

I've tried SalesInbox and the Outlook Addon, but I cant get this working. The Outlook Addon you can associate an email to a Contact, but this isnt feasible to do when we have lots of correspondence going back/forth with Suppliers all day.

Ive created a Suppliers module with a lookup field to the Contacts. This means any email to us from a Supplier where the Contact is CC'ed does actually show in the Contacts record! Great. BUT its rare that a Suplier will CC a contact into an email to us.

We need some way to label an email from a Supplier as 'Customer 1'; and that email should display in the Contact's record.

This functionality should be available in a CRM yes? How can this be done?
