How to chart Incidents over time

I'm trying to build some simple reports for my SDP implmeentaton. I would like to be able to report some metrics over time but there doesn't seem to be an option to just plot the date along one axis. Am I missing something? I've struggled with this for some time with SDP's native reporting and was hoping that Zoho Reports would help, but so far it's just prettier.
