How to create a mailbox account when the ISP is Free.fr?

Hi everybody,

This message is particularly targeting at experienced French Zohomail users having FREE.FR as internet service provider (they seem to be not to so numerous).

I have created a Zmail mailbox account that works fine (sending and receiving)
I also have several other mailbox accounts that I would like to transfer under Zmail. for instance: myname@free.fr
I could create several accounts with this type of adress: they receive properly messages but it is impossible to send one (the outgoing server smtp.free.fr it refused by te system)
the smtp server was: smtp.free.fr
I tried with: smtp.gmail.com, as I get a Gmail account. It does not work either

I asked the question to Zmail support team, their answer is:

"It looks like @free.fr is not a Google Apps account. Hence if you try to send mail using smtp.gmail.com it will not allow. Kindly specify the correct outgoing server name for the account and try sending mail"

Does anybody know which kind of outgoing server I should use?

Does it mean I need to chang of ISP?

Does it mean I need to create a Google Apps account?
