We have certain Accounts are marked as "clients", and those accounts are thus not visible to the Sales team anymore. We did this so that not every user in the company could see the full client list and all the details.

Now I have a need for a sales rep to create an opportunity for an Account that is marked as a "client". But in the opportunity they try to look up the Account, and they don't see it and it says duplicate exists you cannot access.

Is there a way to let everyone see all the Accounts in this manner, but not the details within the account? With this I feel they'd be able to create opportunities for those Accounts.
