How to Display Formula Result as Currency?

How to Display Formula Result as Currency?

I have been searching this topic for an hour now. The best I can find are posts from more than 2 years ago with no solutions. Is this still not possible? The formula field does not allow for a format option. The report does not allow for a format option. My formula is based on a currency field with basic addition, multiplication and division. Why would the result not maintain the currency format?

From the (outdated) Help section (https://www.zoho.com/creator/help/fields/configuring-a-formula-field.html)...

"Each field that participates in a formula expression has a data type associated with it.The field in which you place the result of your formula also has a data type. All these data types and the Operators you use on them must be compatible. If you combine field types incorrectly, your formula won't work and Zoho Creator displays an "Error message" describing the data type mismatch."

Does this statement not indicate exactly what I am talking about? This clearly states my formula should maintain the currency format.

What am I doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.
