How to have read Google mail appear as read in Zoho CRM

How to have read Google mail appear as read in Zoho CRM

I have read the emails in my google account, but they appear as unread in the zoho crm email account. The zoho crm email says I have 15,000 unread emails. How can I set up my settings for zoho to recognize when I read an email in google and change the statue from unread --> read?
