Showing the Physical Address of the Account on the Contact record should not requires some special add on. It is a very basic requirement.
It doesn’t make sense that the address fields on the Contact form cannot be linked to the Parent Account address fields. This is Relational Database 101. If a special address is needed for the contact, it should be entered into a separate set of address fields. But the Account address should be visible on the Contact form.
Maybe I am missing something, but even the “Zoho Developer” couldn’t come up with a clean way to do it.
There could be an Account Section on the Contact form that this common information would be visible.
If the contact doesn’t have an account associated with it, then the address fields can be stored in the contact record. Once an account is created from the contact, and the address fields are entered, the account address should be visible on the Contact form layout.
Many custom fields from the Account record should also be visible on the Contact form:
Address
Website
Type of Account
Sales Representative
Territory
etc., etc.
Am I missing something, or does my “Zoho Developer” not know what they are doing?
