How to list the title (responsibility) of a person in the contact list?

How to list the title (responsibility) of a person in the contact list?

To make it short, if you go to an account, you see a list of contacts for that specific accounts. You see their name and numbers, but there is no way to differenciate their function in the company unless you open them individually which is time consuming.

We would like their title (function in their respective company) to be listed next to their name and phone in the list. This way we can easily identify the director, developer, or accountant and be able to know who to contact for specific issues without having to dig into each contact details.

Is this possible? 

If we can't add a field to that list, then i'd like to replace the fax number (which we never use) with the title.
