We use Zoho CRM to power our real estate agency. We have a lot of agents who refer clients to us. Hundreds of independent agents. They do not have an account in our CRM because they are independent agents, not our employees. I want to be able to use CRM to know the name of the agent who referred a lead. The agent would be saved in CRM as an Account. So I can then run a report to see how much commission I owe each agent at the end of the month. First step is, how do I make a custom field to track the  referring agent for a lead and connect that custom field to the right agent in my Accounts section? Or how is the best way to otherwise achieve this?
