I would like my task description field to be full-width.  I have looked all over Zoho and only find old complaints about the single-column field not being displayed correctly.  I'm assuming there has been an update since most of those threads are over 10 years old.  I just can't seem to find it so I figured I'd ask.

I have added a new section just for a full-width text field and have set the settings on that section to be a single column but when I drag/drop the multiline field into the new section it goes into the left column of my single-column layout.  When viewing a task the field is far too narrow, I can actually see more of the task details on my cell phone than on my desktop computer. 

It seems that a single column is not actually a single column.

I have resorted to using projects for tasks just so I can have the large description area then I manually connect the project task to the account or deal.  Very cumbersome since there is no way to automate connecting project tasks to accounts/deals/contacts and there is no link back to the project so you can read the task instructions. 

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for getting a nice wide description field on a task layout?
