How to model sales of subscription products (specifically renewals as sales opportunities)

How do you use Zoho for products that are sold on a subscription basis.  Specifically, after initially winning the business we would like Zoho to automatically enter the subscription renewal in the future business / opportunities 12 months (or might be an x number of months to be co-terms with another previous sale) down the road.
