How to - predefined sorting of report columns

How to - predefined sorting of report columns

I have a few reports that I am having generated and automatically being sent to my CEO on a weekly basis.I need to be able to have a number of the columns re-sized and sorted so that the report is a clean and readable format for him. I can do this manually but how do I have the report generated that way so it is delivered (without my intervention) the proper way?
