How to properly setup Zoho CRM with Zoho Invoice

Hello,

We recently changed our invoicing platform from an old filemaker database to Zoho Invoice for our magazine and its been a major improvement! We can now easily track our invoices, email them out and apply payments.

I'd like to implement Zoho CRM to help us organize all of our leads, and better coordinate support for our existing customers. I've been looking through CRM and it's a bit confusing as we're strictly B2C. Looking through everything, I wasn't sure how to set everything up

Leads - These would be all of our potential customers, those who we would reach out to to become customers

Accounts - Since we're B2C I'm assuming we wouldn't use these. We do have several organizations which "leads" would be a part of. Would I create these organizations and assign the leads to them? (these organizations are just membership organizations that would be house a large number of leads for us). Or would the organization just be the lead source?

Contacts - Would these be our actual customers? Would we "promote" a lead to a contact? If so, would this list be in sync with our contacts in Zoho Invoice?

Potentials - Is this the mechanism for a lead to become a contact? Should I align these potentials against accounts?


As you can see it's a bit confusing. Any help would be appreciated!
