How to retrieve lost email?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I was trying to locate an e-mail in January 16, 2014. However, I could not find it in my inbox probably because it was accidentally deleted.

Is there any possibility to retrieve all emails on January 16, 2014? I know it is very long time ago, but it is very important.
