How to schedule more than 5 emails from a workflow in Zoho CRM?

Following up with your clients in CRM makes it different from a normal database management system, especially when the follow-ups are automated. 

Let's consider a business scenario in which there is a website about the product that the company sells. The product is going to be a tour package. Let's say the client submits a form and a deal is created and invoice is generated. Finally, the deal is closed won. Now, if the admin is willing to send out scheduled emails for all the clients every one month or every 45 days just to be in touch with them for the whole year about the offers, discounted price or any other holiday packages at a lower price. Zoho helps you achieve this using the Scheduled actions in a workflow.




We can only create only five scheduled actions in a workflow. So in total, you can be in touch with them only for the first five emails. Let's say you have a workflow on closing of a deal and it can help you schedule it until the 5th month once the deal is closed. But the administrator of the company is willing to have it for another 5 more months. So in total, they need to send 10 emails.

This simple hack i am going to help you with is that, create another workflow and keep it on create as the record action and add a scheduled action starting from the 6th month. So the first scheduled action of the second workflow will start from 180th day after the deal is closed. So, the first workflow will work until the 150th day and the second workflow will kick start from the 6th month which is from the 180th day.
