Haven't really used Zoho in a long time, but I'm trying to do something that used to be fairly simple but I can't figure out how to do it in the new UI. I want to get a list that I can export of all contacts where the description contains a keyword. A few options I've tried, from easiest to hardest.
1) A global search finds all the contacts with that word (great!), but I can only view 10 contacts at a time and no way to export all the contacts matching the search (bad!)
2) Go to the contacts module directly - Add the description column. In the previous UI there was a little magnifying glass in the row right below the column headers and clicking on it would allow you to add a filter to any column, so I could quickly filter all our contacts for just the ones from a certain city for example. I don't believe there was a direct way to export, but I could move this over into the Sheet view and export from there.
3) Reports - this would be the least convenient way to do an adhoc search, I don't want to have to go through and choose everything and save a report for something that I only want to run onetime...but because I couldn't find another way to do this I went ahead and tried that out. But then I found that the description field isn't available under contacts as the primary module??
So is there an easy way to do one time searches like this? Something that is quick and easy and doesn't clutter up reports with things that we have no intention of running repeatedly?
