How to Send Email Templates via Workflow to Secondary Contacts?

Is there a possibility  to send email template via workflow to secondary contacts? Probably via a function?
This is a very much needed feature for our business because We want all contacts in the deals be in the loop.
If anyone has a script or something, please do share.
