How to set scope for mass update of Custom Modules?

How to set scope for mass update of Custom Modules?

I am facing a problem that when i setup a scope for Custom module to mass update through Mapp update API,for getting code its showing "ERROR_invalid_scope",
When i used system defined module(Leads,Deals,Accounts etc.) its working perfectly fine.
but when I use custom module(Api name or custom name) its showing an error "ERROR_invalid_scope".
