As a company making industrial products, sending samples is an important part of our business. We often engage in sending catalogs, samples, and other direct mail campaigns via USPS (aka snail mail or postal mail) or via UPS/FedEx/DHL (etc.).
What is the best way to track these items in Zoho CRM?
A customer could potentially be the recipient of multiple direct mailings - so a single checkbox will not work.
We would like to automate some follow-up... so I would like to trigger an email to the customer 1-2 weeks after the postal mailing to ensure they received the package and to see if they have any follow-up questions.
Our mailing list has several thousand potential customers on it and we typically send out 100-400 pieces per week... so each one of our campaigns lasts for several months. Ideally, we would be able to add people to the campaign as we mail items to them.
