How to use CRM contacts from Zoho Email?

How can I access email addresses in zoho crm from my zoho email application? The email app within zoho crm does not allow me to add a cc or bc email address from a drop down or lookup (it has to be typed manually which is not practical!) & generally the email within crm funtionality is limited.

Therefore I use zoho email application, however I cannot seem to access or sync the contacts within crm?

Can this be right or am I missing something here? Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated.
