How to use Products in Accounts to map Interest / Ownership

Hello Zoho community!

I would love your ideas and feedback on something that I cannot seem to understand.
Deals, Accounts and Contacts have the Product related list by default.

We are Zoho One user and we use the Zoho Finance integration in the CRM. I am not sure if it makes sense to use Zoho Finance instead of the standard modules or to use both.
We are B2B so means small number of customers with long and complex sales cycle.

In Deals it is clear - you add the products that the Deal is for.
Question 1 - is possible that when a deal is won or a Sales Order is placed that the Products are added to Account automatically?

But for Accounts and Contacts it is not really clear to me, since we need to track three stages or the relationship.
Stage 1 - Product Fit - this is internal where we add which Product is a good fit for the customer, based on our segmentation and scoring.
Stage 2 - Product Interest - this is that the customer has shown interest in this product, it is added when they do something in Surveys, etc.
Stage 3 - They actually own the Product and we need to track the SN, Warranty etc.

Currently we have created a Custom Module called Assets Installed, where we keep Stage 3 Products and map them to the customer. This way we track warranty, SNs, etc. This also allow us to link the Asset to Service Locations (Custom Module), Service Contracts (Custom Module), etc.

However I am not clear if I add a Product to the Account from the native relationship what does it mean. Does it mean they own it, does mean they are interested in it (like Deals)? What does it mean? Since there is no additional fields to add (so no linking module) it is not clear.

Of course we can decide this internally, but I want to understand from your experience, since it may mess up reporting after that or future integrations with Desk, etc.

Thank you in advance!
Ivan
