How to use Zoho for a company that sells through Reps?
Hi everyone.
In my company we are a manufacturer and we do business through reps around the world. It mean that we rarely sell direct to the final customer.
Our sales method is:
I send a quote for the rep > Rep send to customer > customer accept or not > if customer accept, my company need to invoice the customer (not the rep) adding the rep commission.
So what happen is that after I mark a quote as accepted to create a Sales Order, I can't change the company that i am "selling" it to. Is there a better way to use Zoho in this company environment?
What we do at the moment is:
we send the quote> quote is accepted, we convert it to an invoice editing the "customer" field and send to the final customer. It is functional, but I am skipping the Sales Order flow or if I need to analyze the data, it wont be reliable i.e. if I want to see which Rep sold more items. (as I invoiced the customer and not the rep).
Is anyone here that use zoho in this format?
