I have exactly the same question as https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/how-to-verify-i-own-the-domain-when-using-wordpress-com-and-namecheap , but the answer in this one seems to be out-of-date. At lease the video in the answer was no longer available.

So I also use namecheap with wordpress and am now trying to setup zoho. But since using wordpress with namecheap requires me to use "custom DNS" which doesn't allow me to change things in the "Advanced DNS". So I'm really lost now.
