I cannot create replicate our numbering scheme for Sales Orders in Zoho, any idea how to ?

We number our Sales Orders like this YYYYMMXXX, where YYYY is the booking year, MM the booking month, and XXX is an "Auto Number" being reset for each month.  It seems to be a dealbreaker in the group to use Zoho CRM to be able to keep this numbering scheme.  

Now, it is important that this number is never a duplicate and it would be a pain to "skip" numbers as it would generate time-wasting researches.  I've been fiddling around to find a solution ... but cannot seem to find a proper solution.
