I need help - Activity Report with Account and Contact Information

Hello,

Where is the option to create a new report?  When I click on Reports, I do not see it. Is this capability available in the "Free" edition? 

If I cannot create a new report, will any of the standard reports be able to be customized as follows.  I would like to see all of the Tasks/Event I modified today along with the Account Name and Contacts associated with the task.
