I need help receiving my emails into my Apple mail program

I need help receiving my emails into my Apple mail program

I have set up a zoho mail address and  I have followed the steps listed in setting up my Apple mail program to receive emails but they are still not coming through.  I do not understand a lot of the terminology used in this computer world so I would appreciate if someone could assist me in getting this set up!
