Ideas for web interface improvements

Here are several proposals I've come up with after a couple of weeks of using Zoho. Please comment and/or add ideas.

More varied color themes. Very dark gray should be an option, since the current themes are too bright and hard on the eyes.
Reconnect after computer sleep works most of the time, but there's no visual indication. Scenario: I open the laptop and Zoho is already in an open browser window, but I can't tell if mail is being fetched instantly or ten minutes from now. Some sort of visual cue like a "Reconnecting now..." or "Reconnecting in X seconds..." is needed.
The file attachment uploader should have a progress indicator. (edit: maybe it has is Chrome, but there's none in Firefox) My connection is very slow sometimes and even files of a few hundred Kb often fail.
There seems to be no way to customize the From field. For example, for each of my "Send as" addresses I'd need a different name and title, like "John Doe, IT Manager" <john.doe@doe-enterprises.com> or "Johnny Doe" <johndoe@zoho.com".
