This is my first post here and firstly let me thank you for providing a great CRM at such a great price point.

I am very impressed with the flexibility of the CRM product however I have the following suggestions that I think will benefit everyone and really differentiate ZohoCRM.

1. Task Templates

I would like to be able to add Task Templates  / Action Plans to Leads/Accounts/Opportunities/cases etc such as

day 0 execute task x

day 3 execute task y

day 4 execute send email

day 5 execute make phone call

and so on.

I would like a button called "add action plan" that allows me to choose a template to apply. This is the same as in salesforce.com Action Plans or playbookiq.com and many other CRM.

This is a very important ability and with the building blocks already there I see this as a quick win for ZohoCRM.

2. Activity / Call scripts.

The ability to have a set of predefined "activity" descriptions / scripts that I can use when creating tasks / task templates.  This way I can be sure that my sales and account support people are giving a consistent message.

I can also "test" the success of new scripting by allocating a different "action plan" with different scripting to a section of my sales team.

3. The ability to add icons for custom fields.  This is to aid navigation but I would like to add Social Network links etc and icons would make that much more friendly.

4. The ability to select what fields show on main pages e.g. under Accounts I would like to include a few custom fields in the "Contacts Section" so I can show e.g. the primary contact.

5. The ability to "rename" non custom fields but I know that has been addressed elsewhere in the forums

Lastly ..... and please don't take this personally but a few more template options would be good.

The currently available templates are very old fashioned and perhaps having a look at Bantam, HighRise, Batchbook and some of the more "modern" CRM UI would provide some ideas?

Anyway the main thing I really need is 1. Task Templates
