What's changing?
Previously, the same email address could be used to create separate Zoho accounts in both the UAE data center and another Zoho data center (such as US, EU, IN, AU, JP, CA, SA or SG).
With this change, an email address can be associated with only one Zoho account across the Zoho data centers.
Who is affected?
You are affected if you have Zoho accounts associated with the same email address in the UAE and one or more other data centers.
For example, this change applies if johndoe@zylker.com is associated with a Zoho account in the UAE data center as well as an account in the US data center.
What should you do?
No immediate action is required. If you already have accounts using the same email address across different data centers, you can continue to access each account through its corresponding sign-in URL:
- US (United States) – accounts.zoho.com
- EU (Europe) – accounts.zoho.eu
- IN (India) – accounts.zoho.in
- AU (Australia) – accounts.zoho.com.au
- JP (Japan) – accounts.zoho.jp
- UAE (United Arab Emirates) – accounts.zoho.ae
- CA (Canada) – accounts.zohocloud.ca
- SA (Saudi Arabia) – accounts.zoho.sa
- SG (Singapore) – accounts.zoho.sg
However, this is only a temporary arrangement. Eventually, each email address will be allowed to remain associated with only one Zoho account across the applicable Zoho data centers.
We will follow up on this post with more details on how this change will be implemented.
