Imap Authentication stuck in authenticating mode

I had configured my zoho mail to work in the CRM and it seemed like it was working flawlessly.  However, when I went in this morning to try and utilize it, I noticed that it was not connected and I clicked the button to have it connect again.  It is now showing 'authenticating' and has been for the past 4-5 hours now.  In the meantime though, I am having to copy and paste my email addresses from one application to the other and they are not linking like they should be, which is very annoying.  It makes for a very stressful day when you think you are using something that should work.
