I've got my Zoho account setup on my Mac using Mail as the client using IMAP. It has worked fine for months. After the recent IMAP issues, the account started acting strange, even after the problems were said to have been solved on Zoho's end. My Mail client just always shows "Downloading Messages." It's been showing "5,517 of 6,041" messages for hours. (See screen shot.)

Thing is, the emails on my Mac appear to be completely synced with Zoho webmail. There doesn't appear to be anything left to download! Yet it seems to think there is more, and so it continually shows "Downloading Messages." I even completely deleted the account on my Mac and re-added it. No help. Is there a way for me to fix this, or is there a problem on Zoho's end?
